August Days

It is good to be back in Seaview. It has been booked all summer but we blocked these two weeks for ourselves. The water has been amazingly calm and clear since Sunday. The weather has been sunny and hot and on Monday the water temperature was cool and comfortable and a bit cooler on Tuesday. I must admit, however, over the past two days the water felt like ice! I did feel good after sitting in the hot sun, but after a while I couldn't feel my ankles! But it has been nice to be able to go into calmer waters and not worry about being knocked down by waves this week.

So far, we have had gorgeous sunsets and moonrises. Sunrises have been pretty nice as well, but I must admit I haven't seen as many of those.

We have been able to enjoy the watching dolphins swim by and pelicans sitting out on the water. And of course, we have made an excursion to Fish Heads, right up the road.
